Testimonials
Hear from our community! At PSSM Bible Discovery, the experiences and stories of our members inspire us every day.
My PSSM story started as a child (now 57) as I use to do the lessons myself. I also became the child printed on the front of flyers and book marks handed out to people. Then I had 2 sons of my own and looked them up to see if they still existed and to my surprise they still did and then they did the lessons too and now I'm a teacher. I love interacting with my students and really love writing letters to each of them individually.

We lived in Paraburdoo in 1983-1985 and were visited by a gentleman encouraging us to join the correspondence courses. Therefore Joel and Cameron remained students for the 3 years and continued when we returned to Perth. The boys enjoyed the camps over the Christmas holidays and are still in touch with fellow campers to this day. Joel's daughter is now doing lessons. We would like to thank all the teachers and workers over the many years who have faithfully served their Lord.

PSSM has impacted my walk with the Lord in a deep relationship and also understanding God's plan for me. Most important key for me is to listen and obey the words the Lord put in my heart. Thank you for all the lessons, I always looked forward to receive my next lesson.

I only know PSSM as an adult, and I don't remember how I first heard about it. I did teach for quite a few years, first in S.A then in WA. I think it is a wonderful tool to introduce children to the gospel, and hopefully eventually lead them to Christ.

Hey Nigel,
How are you? Really hope you've had blessed few weeks. This will definitely be my last time in jail - missing my kids way too much! I really am determine to turn my life around. I feel I've been forgiven for my sinful life since starting this course and others. You Nigel have been great mentor and every letter I get back from you it makes me smile and gives me the courage to keep going. I have not yet been able to get my hands on the Word for Today as I'm locked down and only out for four hours a day as this jail is very full.
That Word for Today was really blessing to read. Nigel before I came to jail, I was hella lonely. Well should say felt very lonely, but knowing God our Saviour is with us all the time changed that. So, I try to stay positive and think life is not always lonely, sad or depressing, That I have a purpose in life, and I'll always have our Saviour by my side.
Thank you for helping me open my eyes, Nigel. God bless you and your family. Every blessing.

I am so glad to get my next lesson. Thank you so much for the inspiring words that you wrote to me but the Word of God is the most inspiring word that I've ever read in my life. I believe in Him. Without Him, I am so lost.

I don't get to go to church so-to-speak in here but I have toast every morning to part-take in breaking the bread - to remind myself of my constant union with Jesus through the Holy Spirit.

Thank you for all your letters and words of encouragement. It is awesome to know that the Lord always bring people in our path to support and walk with us as we serve Him in whatever area He has put us in.

Going through this lesson has been a great reminder of God's love for us and who He is and His nature. Paul's story struck me the most as he was transformed by Jesus' mercy and called to serve God for the rest of his life

First of all, thank you for being a mentor on this program. You guys are much needed and important to us inmates as the chaplains that come into the prisons to minister to us.

Praise God, our Lord, for He enables them to have Bible study through PSSM and such a wonderful teacher like you. Gradually, kids like to have their lessons and also your lovely letters more and more. Thank you very much for your kindness, caring and encouraging to teach them knowing God's Word and Jesus Christ. I'm telling my church and friends about PSSM and hope more children have their Bible lessons through PSSM.

I hope this letter finds you well. Thank you for your letter. I'm doing numerous correspondence studies, but I don't receive personal letters from any of them, so this was a happy surprise. ... This has been a lot for you to hear I suppose especially from a first letter. I just wanted to give you a little insight into my path and struggle. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

After I had received your letter and while I was reading it, your words went straight to my heart, and I felt God speak to me through you. I want to thank you very much for your kind words of encouragement. I feel that it will help me out through the year and that I can and will keep going back to those verses

Dear Patricia,
Thank you so much for the time and love you have shared with me in probably the worst time of my life. I am so grateful to have had these learning opportunities and to have God in my life again. Never will I feel alone forsaken or unforgiven because I know God loves me and I know I have truly poured my heart out to Him whilst confessing my sins. I now know my biggest fear was my own guilt and shame. God has set me free from it and now April 2024 I will be released from jail and going home!! Hallelujah and thank you Almighty God.
Thank you so much for everything you do for the women here and others it means so much to have someone show you love and kindness and forgiveness in such horrible times. I know it's meant so much to me and helped me back to God. I wish you all the happiness and love life has to give.
Love your friend, Zoe
