About Us
Our mission is to foster a deeper understanding of the Bible and its teachings through engaging bible study programs and supportive community.
Faith focused learning
We are an inter-church organisation that is reaching people with Bible lessons by correspondence. We provide Biblical teaching on practical Christian living through dedicated age-appropriate courses.
Our history
In the far corners of Australia, a caring teacher sparked something amazing back in 1933. She saw kids in remote places without access to Sunday School or church and decided to do something about it. This led to the birth of PSSM Mailbox Club, a wonderful effort that’s been introducing countless folks – both young and not so young – to the wonderful world of God’s teachings for a whopping 90 years.
We are now known as PSSM Bible Discovery yet our main goal remains and has always been simple and true:
“We write to you so you can learn about Jesus, the Son of God and through believing, find life in His name.”

Our impact
PSSM has made a real impact, and you can hear it in the words of the people who love and support it. Adrienne, a big fan, loves how the Bible lessons are clear and true, and she cherishes the physical letters in a world of emails and texts. Caroline found inspiration in Paul’s story, showing how God’s love can transform lives. Shawn, in prison, feels the caring presence of PSSM mentors, a vital connection that brings comfort and meaning.
What keeps the PSSM Bible Discovery going strong for 90 years? It’s the kind hearts of people who believe in the cause. You can also make a significant impact by spreading the word about the incredible work of PSSM. Share your experiences with friends.
